Incompatible with Stag Lefty Upper April 15, 2014
Reviewer: Zachary S from Waco, TX United States
I bought this vise block because it is supposedly the right way to hold your upper for assembly.  That is if you have a normal upper.  I have a left handed, flattop Stag upper receiver that fits the vise block's compatibility list.  However, my upper was crushed in this vise block.  This was partly my fault; the clamp did not close all the way, but I used it anyway.  The small strip of aluminum below the ejection port was bent inwards, impeding the BCG.  Wheeler Engineering said that they would not replace the upper receiver.  Fortunately, I was able to fix my upper receiver using two, big wrenches, but I scratched it up quite a bit.
